Originally from Poland, Renata has migrated half way across the globe to now consider Hawaiʻi with her ʻohana (family), their home sweet home. With a background in Fine Arts, Renata has extended her love of the arts to portraiture in photography and videography. She is attracted to beautiful imagery, storytelling as a film craft, and finding what’s unique about each wedding couple. If she is not holding a camera, she is painting en plein air or taking advantage of Hawaiʻi’s beauty by hiking.
Lee Michael Walczuk
Lee Michael’s knack for storytelling is what shines through in his videography work. If his style could be described in its essence, it would be classic. Lee’s considerable film experience, including Bachelor and Graduate studies at UCLA, puts wedding couples at ease to enjoy their big day while Lee focuses on what he does best, capturing their story. Theatre, masks, puppetry and mime are his great passions following cinema.
Whether creating music videos or short films, Dominik has not only the technical expertise but also the devotion of a highly skilled photographer and filmmaker. He goes beyond just documenting weddings, but prefers creating a work of art for wedding couples and their families to cherish. Dominik’s first feature film was selected for the Hawaiʻi International Film Festival (HIFF) at the young age of 18, whereupon he began his own film company Grototote; he is currently in-production for his second feature film.
Maria Karin embraces a love of photography while growing to be a budding filmmaker herself. She wholeheartedly believes that only film can convey precious moments like: a soft lingering smile, a gentle touch, or the joy in the eyes of a parent. Maria Karin captures what make your day special which she believes should last beyond the wedding day itself. She has just completed a documentary in Hawaiʻi, while dancing and surfing the globe in between her blooming film craft.
